You may have seen this week that Jeb Bush will attend to first things, which presumably refers to making money off shady deals, rather than run for Senate. Clearly he saw the writing on the wall after reading this Lakeland Local battle plan for defeating him. What choice did he have after having corporate crony case laid out against him so lucidly? My phone rang for days afterward with Democratic operatives bending my ear for advice.** They could smell the fear.
*Note to obtuse readers: This entire post, including headline, is an example of self-deprecating hyperbole. Bragging as irony. Or something. I dont actually think we chased him out of the race. Nor do I think he read my post. We now return you to your regularly scheduled snark.
